That FX browser does not open when I click the FX button, can't see any plugins. Very annoying. No idea how to change it.

At about 13:20, how did you make it so that you were able to record over those 2 bars over and over, overdubbing a few times, and then it just put it in the rest of the stretched track?

I'm a bass player and I would not be able to tell that those are MIDI drums. You are so good at this.

This video dropped on Jun 8 but I installed Reaper within the last week, and the Windows preferences menu doesn't have the media item defaults section... ?

I see how this is very useful for focusing on multiple parts. I see other's comments. They have good points about complexity and seemingly more work. But, if you are composing a more orchestral longer piece this is very helpful. The steps are super insightful! What I want to know is; can you import from multiple Reaper files that are closed like in an Excel Spreadsheet? So to work on them and import to a main project to reduce tabs and overhead when open? Thanks for all you great vids!

I don't understand why the linking of each of the bands in the multiband compressor. Wouldn't that be the same as applying a regular compressor that compresses all the bands together equally?

Hi Kenny, I am sooooo sorry for posting message here, but I wasn't sure how to send an email to you. First, I have to say thank you so very much for all your videos. EXCELLENT Tutorials!!!! So I was wondering and maybe someone on here can post a comment / suggestion, but I have an MP3 that I put through an app to remove vocals, but you can really hear the digital noise / fluctuation sort of bouncing in and out, and some slight vocal noise left over. Is there a way to clean files up like this? Thank you Kenny, and thank you also to anyone who has any suggestions. It is very appreciated!!!!

In the last example with drums, if I edit the kick track will the edits show up in the other tracks? Will slip edits be reflected across tracks?

Kenny, I was surprised to see that you had manually panned the verse guitar. That would have been a perfect opportunity to use automation items, set to a square wave with a 2 bar cycle. Just my 2 cents... Typically awesome vid as always, though!

I fail to understand the advantage of working like this. You generate a lot of extra to-and fro (with opportunities of messing up something in each copy-paste), you duplicate the workload whenever a section requires an instrument you already created in the other session (e.g., "let's create a kick track... again"), you generate a lot of superfluous .rpps that you'll have to dispose of later or leave as clutter, and you lose the flexibility of intertwining arrangements between one part and the other. Some people here say for them it can be useful, but for my use case it just feels, like the song says, "I complicate things"... I'd rather see more videos about working with subprojects... Anyways, thank you for your videos.

it's soooo close to session view, but not as easy or intuitive. but i love reaper, and it's way cheaper, waaaay faster to launch, and just as stable but better at handling cpu load than ableton. i own licenses for both, but man, i hate waiting so long for ableton to just open , sometimes. also, reaper is one of a kind in its customizability. well worth the sixty bucks i paid, but so is the hundred bucks i paid for ableton intro. 'learning reaper' is another great reaper channel that has helped me, and there are others, of course Kenny is King

Love your work! Have you done a video on workflow when tracking guitars? I'm trying to save CPU power, so I've been printing FX on the last take and then dragging that to its own track, so I don't have a VST for every track, but I'm struggling with how to do it efficiently.

Can someone help me? I am trying to do this, but when I duplicate the tracks and I lower the volume of one, it does the same for both like if the are in chain
